There wasn’t much visible damage along the route from Mobile to Apalachicola FL and even to Carabelle where I’ve been stuck since November 2. There were a few have sunk boats but that might have been from years ago (kind of like around Charlotte County). It looks like it’s worth trying to cross the 85 miles to Steinhatchee on Monday. The wind will still be out of the East and the swells more broadside out of the South -Southeast. Still may be pretty rough going. Either way, it’ll be interesting.

They also have a beer that is brewed here. Although I didn’t find the brewery, they sell it in the local stores. Hooter Brown Ale. How can you go wrong?
It’s claim to fame is it has the world’s smallest policy station. The police chief was even featured on the Johnny Carson show
