Got back to the boat on October 29. Dusted off the spider webs and other undesirables. After a good night sleep, took off single handed for Bobby’s Fish Camp. that’s the last chance for gas for over 100 miles. The camp is a backwoods fishing camp that happened to be on the river. They have gas and electric. That’s it. The one rest room was a Rubbermaid shed.  I made sausage and green beans with onions and mushrooms and planned the next day’s journey to Mobile Bay.                                    On my way to Mobile, I hit a submerged log. No damage to the boat but the transducer never worked the same since. Reminds me of the time I was getting something from under our house and hit my head on the steel beam. My head never worked the same since either.                                                                                                                                                                                     From Mobile Bay to Fort Walton Beach was interesting. The numerous bays on the chart looked pretty small so I figured the SE wind wouldn’t be a factor. Well I gotta tell ya, they were a lot bigger and the chop was so rough, I could have diced an onion by just holding the knife straight out.

In Pensacola, there was the biggest beach party ever. There must have been hundreds of boats beached on a very very long sand dune. They were right next to one another and it stretched for a couple of miles.

I have no idea what this is but it looked interesting
