Captains Log November 14, 2024; 1600 hour

And now, the end is near

And so we face the final posting

My friend I’ll say it clear, We’ll state our case of which we’re certain.

We lived a life, aboard our boat

We traveled each and every river

And more, much more than this

We did it our way

Regrets, we had a few, but then again, too few to mention.

We did what we had to do , through all those locks, without exception.

We planned each charted course, each single step along the water.

And more, much more than this, we did it our way.

Yes there were times, you probably knew, when we bit off more than we could chew.

But through it all, when there was doubt, we ate the salt and spit it out.

We faced it all and we stood tall’

We did it OUR WAY!!

The end. That’s all folks

We made it. We’re home. It’s all over.

Caught up with several other loopers in Steinhatchee FL

While at the marina in Clearwater,  they had a concert that night. I could hear the band right from my boat —- without a ticket

The ICW along the coast from Tarpon Springs South had a fair amount of debris in the water.

Crossing Tampa Bay is always interesting. Makes me glad Charlotte Harbor is so shallow.
